There are many words to describe the colourful traditions, taking place during Munich's Carnival season. During the “fifth season” the festive atmosphere fills the halls at our hotel as we offer elegant balls as well as lively celebrations.

CARNIVAL CELEBRATIONS

Numerous masquerade balls offer a diverse program for the young and the ones remaining young at heart. Dance the night away at one of our Masquerade balls or celebrate the carnival season at our very own Night Club. This is where live bands provide an electric atmosphere and DJ’s will get the room moving to the beat.

CARNIVAL SPIRE

The tradition of the Carnival spire goes back to the Middle Ages. At that time these were eaten to the fasting time. Even with the Romans a similar pastry was already known, which was called "Globuli" and was usually refined with jam or also with honey. Finally, a Viennese woman, Cäcillia Krapf, created the traditional carnival spire in the 18th century. With us, you can enjoy the delicious delicacies at our restaurants  Palais Keller, Blue Spa Lounge  as well as in the Atrium and in the Galleries.
