General information

Welcome to Blue Spa, the unique wellness refuge high above the Munich skyline.

Opening hours

Gym open daily from 6.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.
Pool and sauna open daily from 7 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.

Situated high above the Munich skyline, the Blue Spa is quite literally the hotel’s crowning glory. Star architect Andrée Putman has created a unique four-storey wellness retreat for body and soul measuring 1,300 m2.

Go for a swim in the 6.50 x 14.50 m pool. When the weather’s nice, you can even turn it into an open-air pool thanks to the sliding glass roof. And if there’s a chill in the air, the open fireplace is sure to keep you warm and cosy. Our range of saunas extends from the extra gentle organic sauna in the ladies’ area and the mixed Finnish sauna with infusions through to the classic aroma steam bath. An immersion bath and a separate quiet area help guests feel refreshed and relaxed. And with a tanning bed and Munich’s finest sun terrace, which overlooks the city, there is nothing left to be desired.

Spa etiquette

A spa should be a place of rest and relaxation. We therefore ask you to behave quietly in all areas of the spa and to respect the privacy of other guests by refraining from the use of mobile devices. It is up to you whether you use the sauna area clothed or unclothed. We kindly ask you to place towels between you and the seats and to shower before using the sauna and the pool. It is, however, compulsory to wear bathing attire in the entire pool and quiet area and to wear sports attire in the fitness area.

In case you're wondering why you feel so light: don't forget that you're swimming 570 metres above sea level.
