The name sounds like a mixture of jazz, Jamiroquai and Zoooooum! ... and like a gust of fresh wind, the five Munich musicians and the jazz-funk diva No.1 SanDee also sweep across the stage. Funky dance grooves, soul, jazz and lounge music determine the direction of the band, which turns the crunchiest hits by Jay Kay, The Brand New Heavies, Incognito or Stevie Wonder into their own songs. Because Jazoum is far from being a pure cover band. With "Smile", the six thoroughbred musicians have already released an album with their own songs, which is in no way inferior to the groove of their idols. The track "Keep On Searching" was often played on the radio on Bayern 3 and highly praised: "They groove so 'British' that it's a real pleasure!". At the end of 2017, Jazoum were guests on the Abendschau of the Bayerischer Rundfunk, where they were able to present their song "Can't Get Up" live on TV.
