He is considered one of the most interesting contemporary trumpeters at the moment: Ralph Alessi. The New York Times praised "the elegant precision and power of his playing," while The Guardian hailed Alessi's "flawless technique and ability to connect with the jazz tradition while avoiding its clichés.
With the exceptional pianist Florian Weber, who has won many awards - including the Steinway Prize at the solo piano competition at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the ECHO Jazz in the category "Best National Pianist" and the WDR Jazz Prize for improvisation - he has found an almost symbiotic relationship.
The trio is completed by drummer Mark Ferber, who has already participated in many of Weber's projects.
Together the three of them create a music that knows how to inspire the audience with subtle sound painting and bubbling creativity!
