The singer Indra Rios-Moore perfectly embodies the transformation of jazz into a universal world language. In her music, the most diverse influences of her cosmopolitan - with Puerto Rican and New York roots, but then living in Denmark and Spain - biography find their way in and round themselves into a harmonious whole. Since her 2015 Impulse debut "Heartland," recorded by star producer Larry Klein, she has become an international household name on the jazz scene. She is particularly well remembered in Munich, having won the BMW Welt Jazz Award in 2016. Now she returns to present her latest album "Freedom Road" at the Bayerischer Hof, which is entirely dedicated to the power of love and optimism. Cosmopolitan and eclectic, but stylistically confident and always with her own expression, Indra Rios-Moore presents her own pieces like "Gimme Some of that Joy", classic folk songs like "Keep on the Sunnyside" and covers like Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down" or Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful". Always, however, her mix of cultures, musical vision and personal positivity are an inspiration.

Die Sängerin Indra Rios-Moore verkörpert perfekt die Transformation des Jazz in eine universelle Weltsprache. In ihrer Musik finden die verschiedensten Einflüsse ihrer kosmopolitischen – mit puertoricanischen und New Yorker Wurzeln, aber dann in Dänemark und Spanien lebend - Biografie Eingang und runden sich zu einem harmonischen Ganzen. Seit ihrem 2015 vom Star-Produzenten Larry Klein aufgenommenen Impulse-Debüt „Heartland“ ist sie in der Jazzszene international ein Begriff. Besonders den Münchner ist sie in bester Erinnerung, gewann sie doch 2016 den BMW Welt Jazz Award. Nun kehrt sie zurück und präsentiert im Bayerischen Hof ihr aktuelles Album "Freedom Road“, das ganz der Kraft der Liebe und des Optimismus gewidmet ist.
