Fred Wesley – trombone
Tony Match – drums
Leonardi Corradi – organ

He is a welcome guest at the Night Club: 82-year-old trombonist Fred Wesley, who co-invented funk and soul alongside James Brown with Maceo Parker and Pee Wee Ellis—together they were the legendary “JB Horns.” His performances, like his compositions and arrangements, still guarantee rousing, sweat-inducing evenings that put every muscle in tension. Whether with his New JB Horns or with his Trio Generations, with which the funk icon is now returning to the nightclub of the Bayerischer Hof. „Generations“ hits the nail on the head: Wesley's drummer Tony Match, a fixture on the Paris funk and jazz scene, is in his early 60s. Italian Hammond organist Leonardi Corradi, one of the greatest talents in this rare field, is just in his early 30s. Together, the three of them dive into the embers of classic jazz and funk grooves, timeless and ageless, to pass the fire on to every listener.
