The second “Tango Special” evening at Night Club will be a classic affair. In the global music sense, of course. Guitarist Florian Kohlscheen and bandoneon and accordion player Nico Graz – a multi-instrumentalist who also performs as a jazz saxophonist in other constellations – found each other some time ago and, in their duo DUONOVA, devote themselves to a wide range of concert music from South and Central America as well as 19th-century Spanish music. Their tango program “La Vida breve” is a unique concert experience, not least because the music is combined with the dancing of the two tango professionals Tanya Gutiérrez and Sebastian Avendaño. The couple are two-time world champions in the “tango groups” category. In May 2024, they won the European Championship in stage tango, qualifying once again for the Tango World Championship in Buenos Aires. This tango evening is sure to be a spectacle for the ears, eyes, legs, and heart.
