This organ trio, formed in 2019 around the Italian-Slovenian organist Renato Chicco, the German tenor saxophonist Johannes Enders and the Spanish drummer Jorge Rossy, embarks on a search for its own sound aesthetic. All three protagonists are deeply rooted in the jazz tradition, but are wide open to influences of the most diverse colors. Renato Chicco, who studied at Berklee College in Boston and New York, is one of the most sought-after soloists and most experienced accompanists in his field. He has played with jazz legends such as Lionel Hampton, Freddie Hubbard and Woody Shaw, to name but a few. Johannes Enders is known for his own projects Enders Room/Enders Dome and his collaboration with musicians as diverse as Micha and Markus Acher (The Notwist, Tied & Tickled Trio), Nils Petter Molvaer, Karl Ratzer and Billy Hart, the trio can be counted among the most experimental musicians on the European scene. The trio is completed by the Spanish master drummer Jorge Rossy, who caused an international sensation through his long-standing membership of the Brad Mehldau Trio.
